Community Update
Kevin Molloy’s Insurance Agency has been serving the community for thirty years. Each year, his agency sponsors multiple events for the community and on July 13th, he is combining three of their yearly events into one big event called “Give and Take.” Both the Heartland Blood Center and Goodwill will be onsite from 9am-1pm and Shred X will be there from 9am-11am. Shred X will be shredding any documents people bring free of charge. This is a great way to dispose of confidential documents. Last year, over seventeen fifty-five gallon containers were shredded on site. The blood drive will have the Heartland Blood Center’s two mobile units in the lot to take any and all blood donations. Heartland will be giving away an Oberweis Gift Card to the first fifty donors and Kevin Molloy’s insurance agency will give out a State Farm Visa Gift Card valued at $10.00 for the first forty donors who call for an appointment (call 815-463-5800 to make an appointment). The 3rd event is the Goodwill truck accepting any clothing donations. The Give and Take event makes it easy for the community to give back all in one place at one time. Mayor Tim Baldermann said, “As the Mayor of New Lenox, I realize our strength comes from those dedicated enough to make a difference in the community. Kevin Molloy constantly gives 100% to making our village a better place to live and work.
