A fierce Burger Battle is taking place at the Frankfort Meatheads between music departments at Lincoln-Way Central High School and Lincoln-Way West High School.

Lincoln-Way Central created the “Good Knight,” a 1/3 pound burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and Cajun Fries. Lincoln-Way West created the “Westside Wonder” a 1/3 pound burger with provolone cheese, chili, tomato, lettuce, raw onion and ketchipotle.

The goal of the Burger Battle will be to see what burger receives the most "votes"—how many times it is ordered from the menu. The school with the most "votes" will have the burger listed on the menu through November. And both schools will receive 10 percent of the burger sales.

The contest ends Oct. 27.
