Jewel Thief Strikes in New Lenox
Somebody stole a woman's wallet while she was shopping at Jewel.
A crook snatched away an unwitting woman's wallet while she was shopping at the New Lenox Jewel.
The thief struck about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Nelson Road supermarket.
The woman reportedly was not looking when the sneak dipped into her purse and extracted her wallet.
