Bloodhound Locates Missing 10-Year-Old Girl

Red, the New Lenox Fire Department's bloodhound, sniffed out a missing girl.

A missing autistic girl from New Lenox is home thanks to a bloodhound named "Red," the New Lenox Fire Dept. dog, the Sun-Times Media reports.

Relatives of the 10-year-old girl reported her missing from her home in the 800 block of Lenox Rd. around 11 a.m.

Police launched a full-fledged search, including helicopters and media alerts. With Red's help, they ultimately picked up her trail and located her, safe.
