Feet sore from all your holiday shopping? Stop in the Silver Cross Professional Building on Rt. 30 in New Lenox Thursday, Dec. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 6, between 8 a.m. and Noon; or Saturday, Dec. 7, between 8 a.m. and Noon. A physical therapist with The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Silver Cross will provide a free screening of the foot to determine possible causes of plantar fascia pain. Participants will receive home exercise program and tips for preventing plantar fasciitis. Plus there will be a raffle to win a free foot massager for all screening participants.
