“Dr. Frank” grew up in Chicago Heights and went to St. Agnes grade school and Marian Catholic High School. He did his undergradulate work at Loyola University in Chicago. In 1981 he graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation, Dr. Frank worked for 3 years at Barden’s Animal Clinic in Lowell, Indiana and then for 20 years at Markham Animal Clinic where he worked with his father, Dr. Jorg H. Hoogeweg and sister, Dr. Heidi G. Hoogeweg. In 2004 Dr. Frank moved to Frankfort Animal Care Center. In 2006 he worked at Mill Creek Animal Clinic. In the beginning of 2007, Dr. Frank was working at Lincolnway Animal Hospital in Matteson, Illinois until Cedar Way Veterinary Clinic opened.

Dr. Frank’s enjoys educating pet owners about the care of their pets. 

Dr. Frank has two children, a son, Justin Tyler and a daughter, Jordyn Taylor.
