Steven J. Neiheisel, 32, of New Lenox, is charged with aggravated assault, according to police.
A 32-year-old New Lenox man is accused of threatening someone with a weapon, according to a report. Steven J. Neiheisel, of the 1700 block of Nelson Road, was charged with aggravated assault on April 10, according to a New Lenox police report. Police were called at about 4:47 p.m. to the 1700 block of Nelson Road. The alleged victim was threatened with a weapon in front of numerous witnesses, according to the report. Neiheisel was arrested without incident and taking to Will County jail. Neiheisel also was arrested March 1 by New Lenox Police, according to Will County records. SUNDAY, MARCH 31 Lawrence P. Spaulding, 35, of the 2400 block of Cattleman Drive in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a stop sign and failing to signal, according to a report. Police reportedly saw Spaulding commit several moving violations at about 1:12 a.m. in the 100 block of Veterans Parkway and, later, determined he was under the influence. MONDAY, MARCH 11 Loud exhaust alerts police Henry R. Oram, 19, of the 14900 block of W. Spencer Road, was pulled over in the 100 block of Lincoln-Way Lane because the vehicle's exhaust was loud. Police then discovered that he was driving without a valid license. He was cited for both violations. Four drivers were stopped for DUI and drug-related arrests.
Steven Neiheisel, 32, of the 1700 block of Nelson Road, was charged March 1 for possession of a controlled substance by New Lenox police. According to the report, police stopped a suspicious vehicle shortly after 1 a.m. at Joliet Highway and Prairie Avenue. An investigation revealed that Neiheisel allegedly was in possession of a controlled substance. He was further booked into Will County jail pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper display of registration license plate/sticker, driving without a license, operating an uninsured vehicle and a turning violation.
