Criminal Damage to Property, Car Window: Blotter

New Lenox police reports, May 11-12.

SUNDAY, MAY 12 Police investigated a broken mailbox in the 700 block of Bon Terre Road, according to a report. Police were called at about 7:57 p.m. on the criminal damage report. SATURDAY, MAY 11 A window was broken on a car parked in the 600 block of Schoolgate Road, according to a report. Police responded to a call for criminal damage at 10:19 p.m. The case remains under investigation. Lockport Man Accused of Swearing, Spitting At Silver Cross: Blotter

New Lenox police reports, May 6-9.

THURSDAY, MAY 9 Alejandro Aguillon, 22, of the 100 block of Branchaw Boulevard, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, making an improper turn and speeding, according to a report. Police stopped Aguillon at about 2:13 a.m. near the intersection of Cedar Road and Terry Ellen Lane. Aguillon was allegedly found under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and released after posting bond. MONDAY, MAY 6 William Rempert, 44, of the 500 block of South State Street, Lockport, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a report. Police were called at about 11:10 p.m. to Silver Cross Hospital because of a disorderly conduct complaint. Rempert allegedly was spitting on the floor and swearing. He was arrested and released …

Alleged Wal-Mart Shoplifter Caught at Lowe's: Blotter

New Lenox police reports, May 3-5

SUNDAY, MAY 5 Jeffrey Wordelmann, 52, of the 1200 block of Maple Street, Blue Island, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. Police were called at about 8:27 a.m. to Wal-Mart, 500 E. Lincoln Hwy. An employee told police someone stole merchandise and left. Wordelmann was arrested at Lowes, located in the 2400 block of East Route 30, after a person matching his description was reported. Thomas Cosgrove, 40, of the 1200 block of Shagbark Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding, according to a report. Police stopped at car for speeding at about 3:01 a.m. near the intersection of Laraway Road and Stonebridge Drive. Cosgrove was arrested after an investigation by police. He posted bond and was …

I was at the super Kmart in Tinley Park seeking part time employment for nights and asked the woman doing the interview about people stealing at night since they at the time was a 24 hour Kmart and she said well if we see them we just call the police....What a joke!! THURSDAY, MAY 2 Timothy Soja, 58, of the 800 block of Stonegate Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, failing to signal and driving without insurance, according to a report. He was stopped at about 2:54 p.m. in the 2300 block of East Route 30, after an officer saw him fail to signal. Soja posted bond and was released. Matthew Costenbader, 35, of the 1220 Martinsville, College Station, TX, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and speeding more than 40mph over the limit, according to a report. Retail Theft, DUI Charge: Blotter

New Lenox police reports, April 22-23.

TUESDAY, APRIL 23 Sheila Townsend, 36, of the 400 block of North Center Street, Joliet, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She is accused of taking $35 wroth of merchandise at about 10:07 p.m. from Wal-Mart, 500 Block of East Route 30. MONDAY, APRIL 22 Jennifer Thompson, 29, of the 700 block of Madison Street, Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence, driving without insurance and speeding, according to a report. She was stopped at about 2:33 a.m. near the intersection of Route 30 and Vine Street for speeding. During the stop, police noticed signs the driver was under the influence of alcohol. SUNDAY, APRIL 28 Michael Gibson, 24, of the 3300 block of Navajo Drive, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, making an improper turn and driving without insurance, according to a report. An officer saw a car make an improper turn at about 1:25 a.m. near the intersection of Apache and Pueblo drives. Gibson was arrested and taken to the Will County jail. Tommie Brown, 34, of the 7300 block of South Kingston, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and driving with a suspended license, according to a report. Woman Arrested After Disturbance, Police Charge Her with Aggravated Battery

New Lenox police arrested a 21-year-old Joliet woman and charged her with aggravated battery.

A disturbance April 17 at Silver Cross Hospital resulted in the arrest of 21-year-old Laquandra Archer, of Joliet. She was charged with aggravated battery. According to New Lenox police, Archer was taken into custody about 7:50 p.m. after a man at Silver Cross Hopital, in the 1900 Block of Silver Cross Boulevard, complained that she battered him. She was charged with aggravated battery. No further details of the incident were noted in the report.  Archer was booked into Will County jail where bond was set at $70,000. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10 A car was reported stolen at about 1:48 p.m. from the 1900 block of Silver Cross Boulevard, according to a report. The car was stolen out of a parking lot. The theft remains under investigation. Leon E. Scruggs, 50, no address given, was charged with criminal trespass to real property, according to a report. Officers were called at about 8:48 a.m. to the 1000 block of West Maple Road. A man was found in the garage, looking through the items. Steven J. Neiheisel, 32, of New Lenox, is charged with aggravated assault, according to police.

A 32-year-old New Lenox man is accused of threatening someone with a weapon, according to a report. Steven J. Neiheisel, of the 1700 block of Nelson Road, was charged with aggravated assault on April 10, according to a New Lenox police report. Police were called at about 4:47 p.m. to the 1700 block of Nelson Road. The alleged victim was threatened with a weapon in front of numerous witnesses, according to the report. Neiheisel was arrested without incident and taking to Will County jail. Neiheisel also was arrested March 1 by New Lenox Police, according to Will County records. SUNDAY, MARCH 31 Lawrence P. Spaulding, 35, of the 2400 block of Cattleman Drive in New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, disobeying a stop sign and failing to signal, according to a report. Police reportedly saw Spaulding commit several moving violations at about 1:12 a.m. in the 100 block of Veterans Parkway and, later, determined he was under the influence.
