THURSDAY, MAY 16 Andrew Chambers, 19, of the 700 block of Brockwood, New Lenox, was charged with aggravated assault, according to a report. An officer was called at about 4:03 p.m. to the area of Bently and Lake for a report of an assault. Chambers is accused of making a threat while displaying a knife. WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 About $70 worth of merchandise was stolen from Walmart, located in the 500 block of East Route 30, according to a report. The theft happened at about 6:10 p.m. Keith Richards, 41, of the 900 block of Summit, Joliet, was charged with burglary, according to a report. Police were called at about 4:05 a.m. to Silver Cross Hospital in reference to a burglary. Richards is accused of forcing open the doors to the coffee shop. …

THURSDAY, MAY 9 Alejandro Aguillon, 22, of the 100 block of Branchaw Boulevard, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, making an improper turn and speeding, according to a report. Police stopped Aguillon at about 2:13 a.m. near the intersection of Cedar Road and Terry Ellen Lane. Aguillon was allegedly found under the influence of alcohol. New Lenox police arrested a 21-year-old Joliet woman and charged her with aggravated battery.
A disturbance April 17 at Silver Cross Hospital resulted in the arrest of 21-year-old Laquandra Archer, of Joliet. She was charged with aggravated battery. According to New Lenox police, Archer was taken into custody about 7:50 p.m. after a man at Silver Cross Hopital, in the 1900 Block of Silver Cross Boulevard, complained that she battered him. She was charged with aggravated battery. No further details of the incident were noted in the report. Archer was booked into Will County jail where bond was set at $70,000.
