New Lenox Library gets $6,500 Donation
Friends of the New Lenox Public Library donated $6,500.
The New Lenox Public Library got a boost in funds from some supportive friends. Michelle Monbrod, president of the Friends of the New Lenox Public Library District, presented a check to New Lenox Public Library District President Lou Broccollo in the amount of $6,500.00. The money was raised at the Spring Arts Festival held by the Friends of the Library in April 2012. Each year, the Friends of the Library host an after-hours event to raise money for the library. This year’s theme was Les Miserables and featured a variety of raffles, artwork, and silent auctions for attendees.
