SUNDAY, SEPT. 9 Mia Clayton, 29, of Joliet, was stopped by New Lenox police near Route 30 and Washington Street after they said she was speeding. After stopping her, police discovered she was driving with a suspended license and no insurance and had a warrant for her arrest for the failure to appear in Will County Court. Clayton was taken to Will County Jail. Matthew Murphy, 38, of the 900 block of Meadow Ridge in New Lenox, was charged with battery. Police said Murphy was yelling outside and then punched a man in the face after the man asked him to be quiet. Murphy posted bond and was released. SATURDAY, SEPT. 8 Robert McReynolds, 62, of Joliet, was charged with trespass to property after security staff at Silver Cross Hospital called New Lenox police. According to a police report, McReynolds was in the hospital at about 1:30 a.m. harassing patients and refused to leave after being asked several times. The report didn't indicate what he was allegedly doing to harass patients. McReynolds posted bond and was released. A car parked in the 200 block of Charleston Drive was dented, a resident told police. FRIDAY, SEPT. 7 Elizabeth Odum, 46, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft. THURSDAY, FEB. 23 Frank Riha, 51, of the 11000 block of Wexford Drive in Mokena, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegally transporting alcohol and running a red light. Police stopped Riha on Laraway Road after they saw him ignore the stop light. Officers found a bottle of vodka in the car. Riha was given traffic tickets for the charges. Police were called to Walmart to deal with a woman detained after trying to leave the store without paying for clothing. Sheri Hogan, 22, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft. SUNDAY, DEC. 11 Someone stole a reindeer decoration and deflated another decoration outside a home in the 2900 block of Royal Court. In another incident, a Santa Claus lawn decoration was taken from the front yard of a home in the 2600 block of Kingsway Avenue. FRIDAY, DEC. 9 A resident told police that personal credit card information was used by an unknown person to make online purchases. Trevon M. Terry, 18, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft and battery following an incident at the Walmart in New Lenox. Police say Terry removed items from their packaging and tried to leave the store without paying. When a loss prevention officer tried to stop him, police said Terry pushed the employee. De Sando was only a witness at the scene and was not charged with any crime. The correct information is updated below. Jason H. Bowden, 32, of the 800 block of South Cooper Road in New Lenox, was charged with disorderly conduct and battery. Police say Bowden physically tried to move a 5-year-old boy out of his way as he was trying to get to the self-service cashier at the Jewel Osco on Nelson Road. FRIDAY, AUG. 26 Craig R. Liston, 21, of Elwood, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance and driving with no headlights. Police say he was driving without headlights at 12:41 a.m. near Route 30 and Spencer Road, and after stopping him they discovered Liston had been drinking. He was given traffic tickets. THURSDAY, AUG. 25 The catalytic converter was ripped off a resident's car Aug. 16 when it ws parked in the Metra lot at 300 N. Church St. in New Lenox. Robert X.
