Drowning was the cause of death of an Oswego woman found dead in late July in her pool suite at Frankfort's Sybaris hotel, said the chief deputy coroner for Will County. Frankfort police are not considering it a suspicious death. Frankfort police officers are continuing their investigation as they wait for toxicology reports from the Will County Coroner's Office in the case of the Oswego woman found dead at the Frankfort Sybaris on Friday, said Chief John Burica. The focus of the investigation into how Suzette A. O'Donnell, 53, died now hinges on the coroner's ruling over the manner of death. "(The investigation) will become more intense, focusing on what (the coroner's office) finds," Burica said Monday. "We, at this point, don't have anything to indicate it was anything suspicious." A woman found dead in a Frankfort Sybaris Pool Suites has been identified as Suzette A. O’Donnell, 53, of Oswego.
A Saturday afternoon autopsy was unable to shed light on the death of Suzette A. O'Donnell, 53, of Oswego, who was found dead Friday at a Frankfort Sybaris. The Will County Coroner's Office on Saturday both identified O'Donnell and said autopsy results were inconclusive. The coroner's office previously did not identify O'Donnell pending notification of her family. "The cause and manner of death will be determined pending the final outcome of toxicological reports and police investigation," the office reported Saturday afternoon. Although Frankfort Police continue to investigate, a press release issued Friday said in part, "At this time, nothing appears to be suspicious." Frankfort police say the death of a 53-year-old woman in a pool room at the hotel chain doesn't look suspicious.
Frankfort police are investigating the death of a woman found Friday morning in her room at Sybaris Pool Suites in Frankfort, according to a police press release. "At this time, nothing appears to be suspicious," the release stated. Police responded to a death investigation at the hotel, 7500 W. Lincoln Hwy., around 9 a.m. Friday, according to the report. Although police did not release information about the woman, the Chicago Tribune is reporting that she was a 53-year-old Oswego resident. Despite the incident, it's "business as usual," hotel manager Fernando Murguia told Patch on Friday night. Murguia said police did not give him much information about the woman's death.
