Relay for Life 2013 Campaigns Gear Up to Fight Cancer
New Lenox and the Frankfort/Mokena teams are hosting kick-off celebrations in February.
The New Lenox Village Board gave its whole-hearted support at the regular board meeting Monday. Representatives from the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life 2013 New Lenox group expressed their appreciation for the support. The biggest cancer fighting event in New Lenox, Relay for Life, is already underway. Organizers have announced that the kick-off celebration is scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. Feb. 20 at New Lenox Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway. The Frankfort/Mokena kick-off celebration is slated from 7-8:30 pm. Feb. 6 in the Griffins' Lair at Lincoln-Way East High School, 201 Colorado Avenue, Frankfort.
