Nominating Petitions for Lincoln-Way HS. District 210 School Board Candidates

Nominating petition forms for the April 9, 2013 school board election in Lincoln-Way High School District 210 are now available. Forms may be picked up in the office of Sue Fennell, recording secretary to the Board of Education at 1801 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox on any business day between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. A school board candidate's petition must be filed in the same office no earlier than 7: a.m. on Monday, December 17 and no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 24. Candidates names will appear on the election ballot in the order in which their nominating papers are received in the recording secretary's office. Library Board Election Petitions Available

Three trustee positions are open on the library board.

Nominating petitions are now available for three six-year terms on the New Lenox Public Library District Board of Trustees. The election will be held on April 9, 2013. Candidates must be registered voters and must reside within the district. Packets may be picked up on or after Sept. 25 at the library, 120 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox during library hours, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.  The first day to circulate nomination petitions is Sept. 26. Petitions may be filed at the library between 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 and Monday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m.    Call the library at 815-485-2605 for more information.   The New Lenox Public Library is located at 120 Veterans …
