New Lenox police were busy keeping drunk drivers off the road.
SUNDAY, JAN. 27 Improper lane use nets DUI too Jeffrey Putnam, 38, Shorewood, was stopped in his car in the 1800 block of W. Route 30 after police spotted an improper lane move. Upon investigation, police noticed that he had been drinking. They also discovered that his license had been suspended. Putnam posted bond and was released. Speeding and driving drunk Mark Robertson, 46, of the 700 block of Vanderbilt Drive, was stopped for a speeding violation at Harvey and Schoolhouse Road. Police say he had been drinking. A computer check indicated that he was also driving on a suspended license. Robertson posted bond and was released.
