SUNDAY, MAY 12 Police investigated a broken mailbox in the 700 block of Bon Terre Road, according to a report. Police were called at about 7:57 p.m. on the criminal damage report. SATURDAY, MAY 11 A window was broken on a car parked in the 600 block of Schoolgate Road, according to a report. THURSDAY, MAY 9 Alejandro Aguillon, 22, of the 100 block of Branchaw Boulevard, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, making an improper turn and speeding, according to a report. Police stopped Aguillon at about 2:13 a.m. near the intersection of Cedar Road and Terry Ellen Lane. Aguillon was allegedly found under the influence of alcohol. One person is in custody after police raided a marijuana growing operation Tuesday in Joliet. The arrest is connected to a case out of New Lenox. Authorities have not released the identity of the person in custody but charges are pending. At the request of New Lenox police, the Will County Sheriff's Office assisted in executing a search warrant Tuesday morning at a house in the 500 block of Park Drive in Joliet. Police were still at the house as of 2:30 p.m., said New Lenox Deputy Police Chief Bob Pawlisz. The warrant and investigation were based on information provided by a confidential source.
