New Lenox Mustangs Football Scores Big with Village Board
The 2012 New Lenox Mustangs Heavyweights Football Team was spotlighted at the Village Board meeting.
The New Lenox Mustangs Heavyweights Youth Football Team was honored at the regular Monday night board meeting for their National Championship win over Thanksgiving in Daytona Beach, FL. The 14-year-old division team won all three games and took home the National Champions trophy for their division. The finished up the season with an "unprecedented" 18-0 record, said Mayor Tim Baldermann. The New Lenox Mustangs Heavyweights were coached by Bob Schaper, Sean Plarski, Kyle Plarski, Bill Nowak, Matt Warren and Neal Dahlman. The Team Moms were: Lara Mitchel and Kelly Koscinski.
