Mason L. Brakley died Jan. 5, 2013. He was 20.

Mason is survived by his loving family, father, Jerry Brakley, siblings, Andrea Marvel, Christopher Lukasik, grandparents, Arlene Brakley, Lorraine Neakarse, nieces, Madilynn Lukasik , Sopheya Lukasik and many aunts and uncles. Mason was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Brakley (Neakarse). Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Mona Costello, U.S. Army Veteran: 1952-2012

The first woman assigned to NATO HQ for southern Europe's land forces, Mona Costello served the Army with distinction in many capacities. Visitation will be Sunday and funeral services will be Monday in New Lenox.

Mona Elizabeth Costello, nee Boone — an accomplished U.S. Army veteran — died Oct. 9, 2012. She will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood on Monday after a funeral Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox 60451 on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 from 2 to 7 p.m. Funeral Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 with prayers at 9:30 a.m. to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Cosmo A. Misischia, formerly of New Lenox, died July 12, 2012. He was 74.

From Kurtz Memorial Chapel in New Lenox:  Cosmo A. Misischia  Age 74, a current resident of Sarasota Florida, longtime of New Lenox passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012. He is survived by his loving family; son Jason Misischia; three grandchildren Emelia, Isabelle and Martin Misischia; brother Dr. William (Mary) Misischia; Sister Sandy Johnson and his loving companion Joanne McKenney. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Misischia; parents Dr. Cosmoand G.
