False Name Ends in Obstruction of Justice Arrest: Police Blotter

FRIDAY, FEB. 22 Giving a false name in a traffic stop ends in obstruction of justice arrest Kyle Ballard, 19, of the 2100 block of Sanford Avenue, was arrested for obstruction of justice and an in-state warrant on a misdemeanor charge. According to the report, Ballard was a passenger in a suspicious car at Cooper Road and Lincoln Highway. When asked to identify himself, police say Ballard initially gave a false name because he feared there was a warrant out for his arrest. When his true identity was revealed, Ballard was arrested for the in-state warrant, and police added obstruction of justice to the list.
