Everything I have tried has been great! My favorite is the BBQ especially the brisket or BBQ beef - you must try it!
Also the catering is phenomenal and the staff is very friendly!
We go there once a week to get our BBQ fix :)
We have been ordering for our business lunches in Joliet. Love the food, love the service, love the enthusiasm. Great food!

Beef sandwich was dry and the Aujus seemed really oily. Fries were soggy and the BBQ sauce for the pork sandwich was VERY smoky tasting.
Won't try again.
I have to say that I was very impressed with the Irish Pig's food. I really enjoyed the Shredded Pork Sandwich and the Macaroni and Cheese. This could become my favorite restaurant in New Lenox.

This place is so good. They type of food you'd find on Man vs Food, etc. Don't let the little store front fool you, this is the best BBQ around. The BBQ brisket is awesome, and now they sell the sauce to go as well.
The staff is very cordial and always looking to crack a few jokes.
Highly recommended, and now serving until 7PM so you can enjoy for dinner too!
Finally, a decent barbeque place right by my house!
The Irish Pig is run by the owners of Connally’s Catering, tucked away in the strip mall behind the LA Café restaurant. The ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are all great. Their fries are hand-cut and come in a variety of different seasonings such as Cajun, garlic or truffle. They also offer other items on their menu such as chops, grilled chicken breast, beef, and ribeye sandwiches, but their specialty is barbecue. Also check out their daily specials. Their fried fish dinner is one of the items that was on the specials list for Lent but is supposed to be making the menu permanently by popular demand. Best of all, everything is made fresh.
There’s maybe four stools and one table for sit-down dining, but this is primarily a take-out place. They used to close at 3, but are now open until 7:00.
I just spoke with the proprietor of the Irish Pig. Wonderful lady. Love helping the community. Case in point: she's being nice to The Friends of The New Lenox Library in pricing her food for the upcoming 3rd Annual Spring Arts Festival. Talk about good food!
She tells me that even though baked beans aren't on her BBQ menu - she'd gladly add them.
Also, their Burger, Italian Beef and Italian Sausage has got to be as good as the Tacos (which are off the menu at the moment but hopefully not for long).
FYI Cathy Connolly owns The Irish Pig!! Thanks Chris for saying its open 'til 7pm, I didn't know that. They have wonderful food and am now looking forward to being able to pick up for a wonderful quick (homemade) dinner!!
