Not the best place in town. Slow service and cold food. The food would be good but its always only warm.
The steaks are the best hidden gem on the menu. Love the filet and ribeye with mushrooms or the strip pan fried vesuvio style. Great variety of steaks and chops to go along with their obvious awesome Italian choices.
By far the best restaurant in new lenox. The food is great. the service is always good and the place is spotless. Highly recommend this place

Italian food the way "nona" used to make it? Absolutely. But don't be fooled. The Gatto boys take incredible pride in their menu, as you would expect for young, but "old school," Italians. After all, their family name is above the front door. As a result, their steaks are "steakhouse quality." So don't limit yourself to the wonderful pastas or Italian entrees (best Veal Parmagiana I've ever had and I've eaten all over this country and lived in the NYC area). Treat yourself to the best steak in the area - butt steak, filet, strip steak (or veal or lamb chops, if you like). Not only will you not regret it, you'll revel in an incredible carnivorous experience. Oh yeah, to add to the steakhouse experience, have a shrimp cocktail. As good as Shaw's or Bob Chinn's. Yep . . . I love Gatto's. A buona salute, Charles and Frank!
You need to try (bone-in) Rib Eye steak at Gattos. The size is perfect for the meat lovers. I prefer them to put either Parmesan or Blue cheese on top and broiled the cheese to crisp. That is the perfect steak along with a few nice glasses of Blue Moon. Life cant be better than that.
At Gatto's...you are family! You are always warmly welcomed and treated to top notch food and service! The staff is friendly and the food is outstanding and reasonably priced! They serve the best pasta and steaks...and for your next party...have Gatto's cater! Brushetta, sausage and peppers, bow tie pasta with Maria sauce, beef sandwiches and their famous garbage salad! They have something for everyone. GO WITH GATTO'S - YOU JUST CAN'T GO WRONG!
