Medical doctors gave me 2 choices for my painful arthritic thumb: surgery, or prescription pain medicines. I always thought of chiropractors helping only with back pain. I'm glad that I visited with Dr. Foley. His bi-weekly adjustments have pretty much reduced my pain to zero.

After a few sessions with him my back has never been better. He is the best around. I will never go anywhere else!!!!
After years of dealing with pain in my upper back and having one massage therapist after another recommend seeing a chiropractor, a few sessions with Dr. Foley and that pain was gone. It was such a relief for me when he was able to locate the pain and explain the cause and effect of why I was experiencing it.

Dr. Foley is the Michael Sewall of chiropractic. (Regular NL Patch readers will understand what I mean.) Dr. Foley is terrific, explaining the reasons behind his process and asking many questions as he goes. I'm an old hat at chiropractic and I appreciate his approach, but he'd be great for someone who's nervous, young, or even skeptical because he will make any patient feel safe and calm. And we've all heard about the crackpot chiros who talk about "energy" and assert magical claims that certain vertebrae relate to specific organs and such---well, Dr. Foley's approach is all logic. He won't try to sell you reflexology socks.
I started seeing him for neck pain, which he has ameliorated greatly, and he even fixed my foot, which has been sore on and off for five years and I'd always blamed on shoes. (Like another reviewer, I'd never thought to bring up non-spine related pain to a chiropractor before.)
Sidenote: I was involved in a minor car accident recently and had a CT of my back done at the hospital, and the results of the CT (findings unrelated to the accident) showed exactly what Dr. Foley had already learned and told me just from examining & adjusting me. The man knows his stuff!
