Great old-school waitstaff, but I agree that the new prices are too high to put up with the wait for a table. They chased all the old farmers out of there.

LOVE the CHARM!!! Where else can you get the BEST beef sanwich at 7:00 AM?
We still love the Charm and we think the son is doing a great job. Things do change but the quality and service is there.
We used to love this place-been going there since it was Lorenzo's in the 1970's, but since the son took-over and raised the prices, it's different. I guess things change.
The best place to have breakfast. Service fast, food good and hot..always busy here but never a long wait, if at all. Two thumbs up for me!
You can't do any better than having breakfast at Country Charm. It's a staple here in New Lenox! They expanded their restaurant because there would be such a high demand and people waiting to get in the door. Ha, even if they took up the whole plaza, I don't think there would be enough room either...the food and staff are just THAT good.
Never disappointed in this place! They have a reward program too for frequent diners.
This is the only true family, friend oriented restaurant left among the three villages, were everyone pretty much knows everyone and willing to meet new families and friends. the waitresses know most of their customers by name and the service is quick and good. They are well coordinated even at their busiest times. The food is good. Country Charm is the best lunch break stress releaser I know of.
This place is the epitome of a small-town, family-owned restaurant. Most of the waitresses have worked there for 20 years, so they do their jobs like clockwork and know all the regulars by name. Even if you’re not a regular, they treat you like you are. Service is super friendly and super fast. The menu is good basic comfort food like pancakes, omelets, chicken-fried steak, and home-made biscuits and gravy. The restaurant has been spruced up through a recent renovation that also added an outdoor patio, but it still has down-home atmosphere and décor. And best of all, the cheapest prices in town. We go there for breakfast at least once a week. So does everyone else in town, though, especially on Sundays when the line is out the door. So get there early if you want Sunday breakfast or be prepared for a wait.

My wife and I go there quite often because the food is great, the waitresses and porters are friendly and the service is fast. Tom 5 stars
