Knezz Children at home on the stage of Oliver! via Curtain Call Theatre.

The Knezz children were practically raised on the stage, and it shows!

It's hard to tell whether nature or nurture has contributed to the Knezz children's ease on the stage.  Leo, 6, and Lucas, 4, are both cast in Curtain Call Theatre's production of Oliver! , which opens this Friday Jan 4th at Lincolnway East.  Both boys have a sense of comfort on the stage not often seen in children so young. Their talent for song, dance, and drama may be inherited from their parents: both Mom (Rosie) and Dad (Michael) are theatre veterans.  Or it may be their upbringing itself,  in a world of music and dance.  Both boys share the stage in this production with their mother Rosie, and all are working under the directorship of the paternal Knezz. Mom Rosie Knezz is thrilled at the family's group endeavor.  "I've always hoped the boys would share our love of the theatre" she explains, " but it wasn't until I watched them in this production that I realized they enjoy it as much as I do."  Make sure to keep a sharp eye out for the Knezz boys in future productions. In the meantime, you can see them in Oliver! this weekend.  Get your tickets to Oliver! at www.ccctheatre.com or by calling the box office at 708 699-2228. Oliver! runs through January 6th.

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
