Jim Gill's Family Room Tour

Frankfort Public Library, 2119 Pfeiffer Road, is hosting Jim Gill's Family Room Tour. An award-winning author and musician, Gill has an evening of family fun planned. Jim strums energetic rhythms on his banjo while everyone claps, sings, dances and even sneezes along to the silly and inspiring musical games that he creates. ShareFest 2013

ShareFest 2013: The main event is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 14 at Spencer School Campus, 1711 Spencer Road. It includes a pet adoption, recycling drive, health and safety fair, book drop-off and exchange, clothes and household goods collection, food drive, blood drive and more.  

Sunday:

Illinois Philharmonic Brass Quintet

The Illinois Philharmonic Brass Quintet will be performing from 5-6 p.m. at Breidert Green, White and Kansas Streets in Frankfort. The quintet is performing as part of Frankfort's September Sunset Music Series.
