No matter what we may be lacking, we can almost always give blood.
Sure, there are medical exceptions to be made, but if your health allows, donating blood is a great way to help others. And you usually get a cookie.
Stop by the United Methodist Church of New Lenox, 339 W. Haven Ave., on Thursday between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. No appointment is needed.
