WILL COUNTY SPONSORS USED TIRE COLLECTION EVENT

Now is the time to clean out your garage or basement of any old tires!

The Will County Land Use Department Resource Recovery and Energy Division is offering a used tire collection and recycling event FREE OF CHARGE to all Will County Residents.

This event will be held from 8 am to 3 pm on Friday Oct. 26 and Saturday Oct. 27 at the Will County Fairgrounds, 710 S. West St. in Peotone.

Any car, tractor, farm tires, and light truck tires will be accepted.

- The collection is open to all Will County Residents

- The tires must not contain water or be excessively dirty

- Off-rim and on-rim tires will be accepted during this event

- You must be able to unload your own tires

- Maximum of 500 tires will be accepted per vehicle

- Business tires, industrial tires, or off road tires will not be accepted
