WILL COUNTY & NEW LENOX TOWNSHIP SPONSOR HOUSEHOLD HAZAROUS WASTE EVENT

NOW IS THE TIME TO CLEAN OUT YOUR GARAGE AND BASEMENT!

On Saturday September 8th, 2012 a Household Hazarous Waste Collection Event is planned  free for Will County residents.  The event will take place at Spencer Trail School Parking Lot, 1701 S. Spencer Road, New Lenox from 8 am to 3 pm.  The school is located one mile east of Cedar Road and one block north of Laraway Road. This is your opportunity to dispose of old household chemicals, oil based paints/stains, paint thinners/solvents, drain cleaners, outdated medications, rechargeable batteries, pool chemicals, aerosol paint, pesticides, mercury containing items, fertilizers, used oil, used oil filters, old gasoline, antifreeze, automotive/boat batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, compact fluorescent bulbs, and driveway sealer.
