Will County Board Approves Zoning Changes at June Meeting

WILL COUNTY BOARD TAKES ACTION ON ZONING CASES

Case 6046-S:  Salvador Chaidez, owner, a Special Use Permit for Stabling of Horses or other Domestic Animals for Private Use.  This case concerns an approximate 3.49 acres with R-1 Zoning located at the southeast corner of Carriage Lane and Stoney Island Avenue in Crete Township and includes six conditions. 

Case 6047-V4:  Loders Croklaan, USA, LLC., owner of Record, Michael Dahm, Ruettiger, Tonelli & Associates, INC., Agent, a variance for Maximum Height of Wall Sign from 40 feet to 140 feet;  a variance for Maximum Number of Square Feet of All Signs from 800 square feet to 1,224 square feet;  a variance for Parking Space Length from 19 feet to 18 feet;  and a variance for No Parking Lot Wheel Guards or Bumper Guards to be installed.  This case concerns an Industrial Plant on 94 acres that is currently zoned I-3 in Channahon Township. 

Case 6049-M:  Richard and Valerie Persenaire, owners, a Zoning Map Amendment from R-3 to E-2.  This case concerns an approximate 7.5 acres located on the east side of Volbrecht Road, south of Ricton Road in Crete Township.

Case 6052-V2:  Brant and Amy Bender, by Phil Mock, Attorney, a Variance for Fence Height from 4 feet to 6 feet in the Front Yard and a variance for reduction of Front Yard Fence from 90% See Through to 0%.  This case concerns a R-3 Single Family Residence located at 16422 McGrath Drive in Plainfield Township.

TU-2012-09:  John Green, on behalf of the Rotary Club of Oswego, a Temporary Use Permit to allow for the Chukkers for Charity Event on property at 34 Rance Road, Oswego for a Polo Match on September 8th.

TU-2012-11:  Attorney Lyman Tieman on behalf of Fawn Landscaping, a Temporary Use Permit for a haunted house, corn maze, pumnpkin sales, hay rack rides, carnival rides, refreshments and other activities from September 1 through October 31, located at 24405 S. Route 45, Frankfort. 

TU-2012-14:  Gilbane Building Company, as agent for Exxon Mobil, a Temporary Use Permit for two temporary construction office trailers on the property at 25915 Frontage Road, Channahon to be used during the construction of a new cafeteria building at the Exxon Mobil Refinery.
