VOTE FOR TOM WEIGEL FOR WILL COUNTY BOARD ON NOVEMBER 6TH

BE SURE TO VOTE ON NOVEMBER 6TH.

Your vote would be appreciated in the November 6th election.  Tom Weigel, who resides in New Lenox has been a member of the Will County Board for the past 8 years.  He is Chairman of the Land Use & Development Committee, which has adopted new Conservation Design Subdivision and Water Resource Ordinances.  He has assisted residents with zoning issues, flooding problems and changes in speed limits.

He supported road intersection improvements and signalization to improve traffic flow.  He is chairman of the Forest Preserve Finance Committee, a member of the Will County Local Emergency Planning Committee and Stormwater Management Committee. 

 The Stormwater Committee has provided funds for streambank stabilization in the County Creek Subdivision in New Lenox and provided Engineering assistance while working with the New Lenox Park District and Village of New Lenox to complete the project.  He asked that the County provide Community Development Block Grant Funds to the Village of New Lenox for the replacement of water lines and to cap an old private well on Cooper Road at Route 30 due to poor water quality and deteriorated water lines.  $90,000 was granted to the Village of New Lenox for this project.

Agree - purchased gas at 75th & Cass in Darien today for $4.09 to drive home from work to seeRead More gas went down a whopping $0.08. $4.39 to $4.31 - guess I will continue to check gas prices before coming home to New Lenox - Something has to be done.

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
