The County Board approved the following ordinances and resolutions:

Ordinance Establishing Regulations for Plantings in Will County.  This ordinance allows plantings such as wildflowers and prairie grass over 10 inches in height in residential lots.  There is a 5 foot setback from lot lines and 10 foot setback from the road right of way. 

Extended Professional Engineering Services Contract with H.R. Green Inc. with offices in New Lenox.  They are the project engineers for the Build Will highway improvement program.

Professional Services agreement with Wight & Co. for Physical Building Assessment of the Pioneer Building in Joliet which the County is considering purchasing for County States Attorney Office space. 

Renewed annual contract with Joliet/Will County Center for Economic Development (CED) in the amount of $100,000.  The CED is considered the Economic Development arm of Will County.

Renewed contract with Smith, Dawson & Andrews, who are the Federal lobbyist for Will County.

Provided $50,000 financial support for the University of St. Francis for County Seat Art Gallery Project in the Rialto Building in downtown Joliet.  Funding is from the Waste Management fee from County owned landfill.

Provided $25,000 financial support for Universiy of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service.  Funding is from the Waste Management fee from County owned landfill.

Special Use Permit for an Automobile Repair Buisiness on South Cedar Road in New Lenox for Patrick O'Donnell.

Variance for Maximum Accessory Structure Size from 1800 square feet to 4,340 square feet in New Lenox Township for James Hickey.

The Forest Preserve Board awarded a contract to Currie Motors of Frankfort for $30,101.00 for the purchase of one 2012 Ford F350 Truck.
