New Lenox Restaurants Host Progressive Dinner Benefit

Hope Ceroy was looking forward to finishing her sophomore year at Lincoln-Way Central, when in April 2013, she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that is affecting her leg, and has since spread to her lungs.  She is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, and medical bills are growing rapidly, putting a financial strain on the family.  A progressive dinner benefit has been set for Saturday September 21, 2013 from 3pm to 6pm to help the family.

Those wishing to attend the benefit will have two routes to choose from based on their food preferences.  Route 1 starts at Little Joe's for appetizers, and include soup, salad, & rolls. Dinner is being held at Chicago Dough Company  with a pizza buffet, followed by dessert at Culver’s, with your choice of a mini concrete mixer or single scoop sundae. Route 2 begins at Beggars Pizza for bruschetta, loaded nachos, and appetizer sampler platter items. Dinner is family style at Tom Kelly’s, with baked chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, veggies, and mostaccioli. A kid’s menu is available with choice of kid’s pasta, chicken nuggets, or grilled cheese. Dessert is being held at Hope’s Kitchen, with your choice of a brownie sundae, root beer float, or cupcake.
