New Lenox Firefighters to Play LWSRA in Charity Game

Come on out Friday, April 27, for a night of wheelchair basketball as the New Lenox Fire Department takes on the LWSRA Rolling Falcons at LW Central!

The New Lenox Fire Fighters have been challenged by the Lincolnway Special Recreation Association's adaptive wheelchair basketball team The Rolling Falcons to a basketball game.

To be played at Lincoln-Way Central (1801 E. Lincoln Hwy.) this Friday, April 27th at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:30 and the game will include games and crowd participation events throughout the game. Tickets are only $5 (13 and older) or $3 (12 and under). 

The Rolling Falcons just played a similiar game versus the Mokena Fire Department on April 17th at Lincoln - Way East.

Lincolnway Special Recreation Association provides individuals with special needs social and recreational opportunities in the areas of Mokena, Frankfort, New Lenox, Peotone, and Manhattan. They have been in operation for over 36 years and are currently working on the construction of a special recreation facility made possible by a $2.5 million grant by the Department of Natural Resources.
