Warriors Win Homecoming, 22-20

The Lincoln-Way West Warriors beat the Boilermakers in a close game Friday.

Lincoln-Way West Warriors won their homecoming football game with a score of 22-20 against the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers.

The game was hard fought. In the opening kickoff, the Boilermakers' Jarrod Ware ran an 85-yard touchdown. That set the mode for an exciting game. Still the Boilermakers were no match for Warriors senior running back Javier Montalvo.

The warriors didn't score until the second quarter, when they put up 6 points but missed the field goal. At halftime, the score was Warriors 13 and Boilermakers 14.

Athletic Director Ted Robbins said it was a "good game. It's always a good game with Bradley-Bourbonnais."
