VIDEO: Dwyane Wade Dunks, Gets Hit in Head by Ball

The NBA superstar took his talents to New Lenox again Thursday, and the kids loved seeing him dunk, but perhaps liked eliminating him from the game knockout a bit more.

Sorry, D-Wade. That's for beating the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals this year.

OK, now that I got that out of my system I'll admit that seeing Dwyane Wade yesterday during the ProCamps event at Lincoln-Way Central was really cool. There's no other way to describe it. He's one of the best players on the planet and a Chicago native who the kids love, even if he did knock out the Bulls.

The kids returned the favor Thursday, though, by eliminating Wade in a couple games of knockout. Wade was a good sport, of course, and just happy to be there with the kids.

"It's a dream come true to put things like this together for the kids," the Miami Heat guard said. "I wanted to give back from a young age. There might be a future Devin Hester or a future Dwyane Wade in this town."

Wade, along with Hester of the Chicago Bears, is in New Lenox for a two-day football and basketball camp. Grammy winner Jim Peterik of Survivor is also putting on a music camp.
