Providence's bats were booming in a 14-0 baseball victory over neighborhood rival LIncoln-Way Central.

Collin McEnery and Sam Travis went to work for the Providence Lumber Company.

McEnery blasted a two-run homer in Providence's 14-0 five-inning baseball victory over neighborhood rival Lincoln-Way Central when the two met on Friday, May 20. Travis chipped in a three-run triple.

"We did a great job of swinging bats," Providence coach Mark Smith said. "Brandon (Magallones) and Zac (Kutsulis) both threw the ball extremely well."

Magallones and Kutsulis combined to pitch the shutout for the Celtics. Kevin Mampe came on to work in relief for the Knights, but by the time he entered the game it was too late for Lincoln-Way Central.
