Lincoln-Way Central took the first game, but the Knights couldn't maintain their hot start in a three-set boys volleyball setback to rival Lincoln-Way North.

On Senior Night, Lincoln-Way Central players shared flowers with their parents and traded blows with district rival Lincoln-Way North at the net.

The Knights won the first game but eventually fell short in a three-set boys volleyball thriller. North rallied to take a 17-25, 25-22, 25-21 victory on the strength of Justin Morris' 14 kills.

"We had a hard time stopping Justin Morris," Central coach Joann Holverson said.
