Lincoln-Way West's girls were thinking upset when they took on Stagg in a recent Southwest Suburban Red softball matchup in Palos Hills.

The Warriors jumped to a 4-1 lead heading into the bottom of the third inning before a few miscues opened the door for Stagg to rally and claim a 9-4 victory.

West took advantage of a few Charger mistakes in the early going. The Warriors scored a pair of runs in the first.  Alex Carr reached on a dropped third strike and scored on a throwing error. Sarah Clark scored on Kace Krummreich's double.
