Sports Photo Gallery: Hurricane Ditka Kicks Sand (Volleyball) on Bumpin' Uglies
At the New Lenox Lions Den, sand volleyball is a popular activity during the summer months.
A New Lenox Park District sand volleyball match heated up the sand courts at the Lions Den on South Cedar Road on Wednesday night. Two teams, Hurricane Ditka and the Bumpin' Uglies, served up some competitive fun for each co-ed team of six players.
Sand and good-natured jabs flew as the teams competed for the win. The Bumpin' Uglies fought hard and flashed their best moves, but team Hurrican Ditka won in two, 21-8 and 21-10.
