The Chicago Bears and Miami Heat stars coached up hundreds of area children Thursday during the first day of their football and basketball camps in New Lenox.
Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears made a lot of kids happy Thursday in New Lenox. The star athletes are in town for a two-day sports camp at Lincoln-Way Central High School.
The camp is open to the public to view the action, but autographs are not available. Hester's football camp is in the morning from 9 a.m. to about noon, and Wade's basketball camp follows that from about 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
