On Their Game: Judge, Crimmins Double Trouble for L-W West Tennis Foes

Morgan Judge and Erica Crimmins, who make up the top doubles team at Lincoln-Way West, are hoping for a strong finish to their high school girls tennis careers.

Lincoln-Way West’s No. 1 doubles team is still getting used to playing as a tandem.

While both Morgan Judge and Erica Crimmins are seniors, this fall is the first time they’ve been paired up as a doubles team.

“They work hard and have a lot of tenacity, as does the entire team,” Warriors coach Karla Horn said.

The duo isn’t restricted to tennis as both are multi-sport athletes who will trade in their rackets during the spring for softball gloves and swimming headgear. Judge plays water polo, while Crimmins plays the more traditional game of softball.

For now, their focus is on tennis.
