On Her Game: Lincoln-Way Central’s Julie Haring Has Come a Long Way in 'Fore' Years of Golf

Julie Haring is n her fourth year of playing competitive golf. The Knight senior is a gifted violinist. She hopes to have similar success with her iron game this fall.

The sound of the bottom of the cup after sinking a long birdie putt or saving par is music to a golfer’s ears.

The music produced during one of Lincoln-Way Central senior Julie Haring’s violin solos is beautiful to an entire audience’s ears.

Haring’s been playing the violin since she was 5 years old, but she only first picked up a golf club during her freshman year at Central. She hopes to pursue a musical performance career through college, but also hopes to finish her senior golf season on a strong note.
