LWSRA Walk n' Roll-a-Thon 5K Race and Benefit is April 28

The Lincolnway Special Recreation Assoication Walk n 'Roll-a-Thon benefit to maintain the multi-sports field for individuals with disabilities is April 28 in Manhattan.

The Lincolnway Special Recreation Association Walk n' Roll-a-Thon benefit to support both The Field of Dreams, a multi-sports field for individuals with disabilities, and the Les Turner ALS Foundation is April 28. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. at 25640 S. Gougar Road. 

Event sponsors are HomeStar Bank and Financial Services of Manhattan, 25640 S. Gougar Road, and Manhattan Park District.  

The LWSRA provides recreational services for people with disabilities living within the community park district boundaries of New Lenox, Mokena, Frankfort, Manhattan, Peotone and Wilmington. LWSRA promises plenty of activities to enjoy before and after the race. The entry fee is $25.
