FOOTBALL FRIDAY: Share Your Game Videos

Football season is back, and we've got all the info you need about Lincoln-Way games. Hundreds of fans will pack the stands, and we're the place to talk about the athletes, the fans and the atmosphere.

Starting this week, a new company called High School Cube will broadcast Providence Catholic's home football games in the 2011 season.

Games will be streamed live and available on computer, iPhones, iPads and Droid Devices. Another nice thing about this is that you can re-watch games after they happen in case you missed them or want to see a certain play again.

I learned about High School Cube last winter, when it brodcasted some of my brother's basketball games. More and more schools are starting to get on board, and we'll make sure to link to them on Patch.

We'll have our own video of certain games as well. (See these between Lincoln-Way North and Central.)

I also hope you'll share your videos with us. Whether it's a video you shoot of your kid on the field, the band's halftime show or some wild fans, you can upload your videos to our game articles if you're logged into the site.

Below are some links to everything we've covered and more you'll want to know heading into the big game. But this is your site, and we want you to get involved. Send us your fan photos and video. Tell us what you think is the best part of the game. And check back every week for some great stories.

Game of the Week

We'll be at a big-time matchup in the Southwest Suburban Blue Conference when (1-1) plays (2-0). It would be a huge conference win for the Knights and put them near the top of the pack. Sophomore quarterback Cale Hayes is fitting very nicely, but stopping H-F's high-scoring offense will be tough. More games:

  • is the real deal, and the Griffins should handle Lockport during a 7:30 p.m. Friday home game.
  • has its first road game of the season, a 1 p.m. Saturday contest at Thornwood.
  • needs a rebound game after getting crushed by Crete-Monee, and they should get it in this 1 p.m. Saturday trip to Thornridge.
  • has a 7:30 p.m. Friday home game against St. Laurence.
