Ex-Celtic Goulding Punishes Providence
JCA edges Providence 8-6 to gain a split in softball series between Catholic-school rivals.
Joliet Catholic Academy senior Mallory Goulding was a Celtic last year. Now, she’s an "Angel."
Goulding’s stuff on the mound during Wednesday’s game wasn't quite angelic, but it got the job done. Providence had smashed JCA 11-1 on Monday, but fell in Wednesday’s contest, 8-6.

Girls Track: Knights Finish 3rd in Southwest Suburban Blue
The Lincoln-Way Central girls track and field team finished in third place during Thursday’s Southwest Suburban Blue girls conference meet. Homewood-Flossmoor (152) won the meet, followed by Bolingbrook (117), Lincoln-Way Central (85) and Lincoln-Way East (80)

Paige Siwinski won the high jump with a jump of 5-2 and Alena Pacheco also was victorious for the Knights, taking top honors in the 3200 run.
Jackovich leads L-W Central Past Lockport
The Lincoln-Way Central girls water polo team didn’t suffer a letdown after beating Sandburg on Monday, responding with a 9-6 win against Lockport on Wednesday in Southwest Suburban Blue play. Successful Senior Night for Warriors
The Lincoln-Way West girls water polo team won its senior night match against Bradley-Bourbannais on Thursday 11-8. Allie Rocha and Sara Carse scored three goals apiece, Lauren Majewski scored twice and Michelle Fairbairn and Morgan Judge both added goals. Becca Beeson had eight saves.
