Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Foundation to Hold Local Golf Outing

Tickets cost $100 and all proceeds will go toward an LWSRA facility that will benefit the special needs population of Frankfort, New Lenox, Mokena, Manhattan, Peotone and surrounding communities.

The event starts with registration at 9:30 a.m. Each golfer will have access to the driving range and putting green. Golf starts with a shotgun start at 11 a.m.

Contests will be held including a longest putt and closest to the pin challenge.

Lunch will be served on the turn, and free beverage carts will make their way around the course during the outing.

After the last foursome has finished, everyone will meet at the clubhouse for the dinner reception and awards ceremony.

More than $1,500 worth of raffle prizes and a silent auction will be held. Bids for Arlington Park admissions, Chicago Slaughter tickets, Sybaris Suites, Willis Tower Skydeck passes, White Sox tickets and signed memorabilia including White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and
Chicago Cubs second baseman Blake Dewitt will be auctioned off.

LWSRA has provided recreational and social opportunities for more than 35 years. It works in affiliation with
local park districts to ensure special needs people of all ages and abilities have fun and healthy social
opportunities in their community.
