Interested in Amateur Radio?  Don't quite know what Amateur Radio is or how to use it?  Come to our informational night on Friday, April 20th and find out!  Licensed amateur radio operators will be presenting information about the wonderful hobby and useful tools on how to use it in your everday life.  Live examples/demos will be exhibited.

The Illinois Radio League is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the advancement of amateur radio.  Organized in 2010, the primary objective of our educational department is to expand, promote, and educate citizen interest in radio.

The education department is implementing a technician course starting on Friday, April 27, 2012. The classes will be instructed by licensed amateur radio operators. Our goal is to continue the educational classes and prepare you for the wonderfulworld of amateur radio.  Our informational night about the course will be on April 20, 2012.
