Trick-or-Treating at Lincoln-Way Central High School

Lincoln-Way students celebrate Halloween with creative activities for preschoolers.

Bring the kids to Lincoln-Way Central High School for early trick or treating.

Lincoln-Way Central High School is hosting an indoor Trick-or-Treating and Halloween Fun Fair for pre-kindergarten through elementary school aged children and their parents.

The event is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Lincoln-Way Central High School, 1801 E. Lincoln Highway.

“This is a great event for young children, it is a safe, warm opportunity for our young families to have an enjoyable Halloween experience right here at Lincoln-Way Central High School. We have had several successful years of sponsoring this event,” noted Janine Valkema, teacher and Student Council sponsor.

Cost of admission is one canned good or non-perishable food item per costumed child. All food donations will benefit the New Lenox Township Food Pantry. Fun Fair tickets are $1 or 6/$5. All games win a prize.

All children must be accompanied by an adult for this event. Unaccompanied children will not be admitted.

This event is a community service project sponsored by the Lincoln-Way Central Student Council and Lincoln-Way Central High School Academics, Athletics, and Activities.
