Providence H.S. Freshman Placement Exam in January

Preregistration is not necessary but there is a $25 testing fee due on the day of the exam.

Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox will host its Incoming Freshman Placement Exam on Saturday, Jan. 11, beginning at 8 a.m.

The exam is open to all eighth graders interested in attending Providence for the 2014-2015 school year. Preregistration is not necessary but there is a $25 testing fee due on the day of the exam. All testers are asked to bring two No. 2 pencils. Calculators are not allowed.

The top 15 scorers on the Placement Exam will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward his or her freshman year tuition. Financial aid and scholarship information will be provided to students the day of this exam. Last year, more than $1.5 million in financial assistance, grants and scholarships were awarded to current students.
