Preps in Motion: For L-Way West Boys, it's Sweep Success
Warriors defeat Plainfield East in boys volleyball non-conference match 25-18, 25-22.
The all-around play of junior Joel McGuire helped Lincoln-Way West notch a 25-18, 25-22 boys volleyball victory over Plainfield East on Tuesday night.
The two teams traded points for much of the match, but the Warriors finally prevailed, at least in part because of their will to win and their bonding as a cohesive unit.
"The second game saw the team really pull together and get used to playing as a team again and pick up from where they left off from last season." Lincoln-Way West coach Rory Harrison said.

McGuire led the Warriors with seven kills, four digs and three blocks.
